  •       Digital Payment Award 2018-19

Indian Bank was awarded with Digi-dhan Digital Payment Award for the year 2018-19 for outstanding performance in the digital payment system. Our Executive Director, Mr M K Bhattacharya received the award from Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister for Electronics & Information Technology, Communications and Law & Justice, Govt. of India.

  • Customer Outreach Initiatives

Customer Outreach programme, under the aegis of Department of Financial Services , Ministry of Finance, was conducted at multiple centres during October 2019. Large number of people visited these centres for meeting their banking needs. Images from Kolkata and Erode zone:

  • Vigilance Awareness Week

  • CSR Initiatives – Health Talk on World Stoke Day

A Health Talk was organized at Bhubaneswar Zone on World Stoke Day on 29.10.2019 in association with Care Hospitals.

  • Rashtriya Ekta Divas 

The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Divas. This collective call was answered in form of ‘Run for Unity’ and many of our zones observed this day whole-heartedly. Scenes from Madurai Zone and Corporate Office.

  • CSR Initiatives: Swachhata Hi Seva; Say No to Plastics

Under the Swachhta Hi Seva initative, a signature campaign was run and cotton bags were distributed in Chennai to encourage members of public to avoid use of single-use plastic materials.
